Passed from father to son, architecture-timbered, slabs, paillot, cob are terms of carpenters of yesteryear still used today for the beautiful renovation work. But here is the marvel, the church, timber-framed too. Champagne was able to take part of its soil and its forests. The ingenuity of men Champagne allows churches to agree with the habitat of their parishioners. A unique style, economical and beautiful.
