Argonay

Rebuilt in the 14th century on the site of an older building of which we can see some remains, the Château du Barrioz is located near a large fir wood. It appears as an imposing square construction covered with a four-sided roof, a typical example of old Savoyard fortified houses. It is still possible to admire two round towers which formerly belonged to the surrounding wall.

Don't miss a trip to the Saint-Christophe church. Built in the 15th century then burned down in the 16th, it was greatly altered in the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside, it is possible to admire several objects classified as Historic Monuments, including a statue and a chalice.

Let yourself be seduced by the 19th century Desjardins Chapel, an elegant neo-Romanesque style building in cut stone, or by the old bread oven brought back into service during the local apple festival.

Concerts are organized in June on the occasion of the Music Festival.

Every first Sunday of autumn, the town offers its traditional apple festival with numerous activities for the whole family.
