Village of Haute-Savoie, Argentière is part of the town of Chamonix. Mountain resort, it is particularly part of the Grands Montets ski area located in the Mont-Blanc. Connected to Vallorcine but also to Switzerland not far, the village is dominated by the glacier Argentière and the Col des Montets.

This mountain resort is very popular in winter by skiers and other winter sports, but also in summer. The Argentière village is indeed on the way around Mont Blanc is popular with mountain hikers. Located close to the nature reserve of the Aiguilles Rouges, the site enjoys an exceptional nature and absolutely magical views.

Located in the Mont Blanc, the village of Argentière is a jewel in a natural setting of luxury. Visitors from around the world are scrambling to discover the beauty and the traditional heritage of the Haute-Savoie.

Built in the eighteenth century, the Saint-Pierre d'Argentière church is one of the most interesting sights of the village. It is also one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the Chamonix valley. Inspired by the nearby Italian style, it has a beautiful golden tabernacle straight from Venice and a table of the Adoration of the Magi. Baroque statues of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal, are not lacking either charm. Its cemetery contains the graves of many great French mountain guides. Argentière, you can take the cable car up the Grands Montets. This ski area can enjoy the ski slopes and to learn about different winter sports in a warm and family atmosphere.

Hiking trails abound departing from Argentière, like those who go down to the lake Blanc, the Aiguilles Rouges, or the circus of Argentière glacier. The village also has some beautiful climbing sites like Tournoir. The village of Argentière
