Located at the gates of Beaujolais, in the town of Anse, the Château de Saint-Trys has hosted the largest receptions in the region for around twenty years. Surrounded by wood, this building, listed as a Historic Monument, was erected in the 17th century for Pierre Scarron, adviser and butler to the king.
Offering an incredible panorama over the Saône valley, it underwent a major restoration campaign in the 18th century. The castle of Saint-Trys still has a main house with a ground floor, two floors and an attic floor. The set is completed by two projecting pavilions separated by a span.
The park, designed by the architect Jean-Marie Morel in the 19th century, extends over thirty hectares and is open to weddings and other private ceremonies.
