Castle of the Bassieux

Monument in Anse

Built in the 18th century and restored in the 19th century, the Château des Bassieux, at Anse, is a private property not accessible to visitors, but visible from the outside. Quadrilateral in shape, the building is composed of a ground floor and a first floor, with a facade flanked by two round towers formerly crowned with crenellations.

Château des Bassieux is known today for being an important wine estate in the Rhône region.
