The Basque flying club is also based on the platform. Created in 1928, it was already located on the plateau of Parma until the Second World War but the facilities were bombed. The indemnities due to the war damages made it possible to finance the development of the new runway and the airport terminal, which would allow the airport to expand.
For its part, the flying club first organized a number of meetings and now provides training for young pilots. It also offers holidaymakers air baptisms by plane or microlight.
