Jewel of the Renaissance surrounded by vineyards and bordered by the Rhone, the castle of Ampuis takes place in the Rhone department and is partly listed historic monument. Built in the fifteenth century on the remains of an old fortress, it presents some remains of mosaics and amphorae to its main building.

Passed from hand to hand over the centuries, the building that is still today a winery in this famous visitors a circular keep, a main classical style, a dovecote seventeenth converted into a chapel in the nineteenth century, the French gardens redesigned in the 1930s or a beautiful English garden.
