Former monastery of the Carthusian order located in the town of Aillon-le-Jeune, in Savoy, the Carthusian monastery of Aillon was founded in the second half of the 12th century by Count Humbert III. Listed as an historic monument, it now houses the Heritage House of the Regional Natural Park of the Massif des Bauges.
During a guided tour, it is possible to discover the entire history of this site, through the remains of the old religious domain now restored. The opportunity to admire the building for foreigners from the 17th century corresponding to the hotel business or the Church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption. Built at the beginning of the 19th century, it still reveals a 17th century portal.
