Aiguilhe installed at the limit of Puy-en-Velay, the St. Michael's church sits on a volcanic peak, more than eighty meters high. Accessible via a staircase of 268 steps, the building listed as historical building was built in the tenth century.
Monument pre-Romanesque and Romanesque, the church was enlarged in the twelfth century and now reveals a polychrome facade and trefoil. Recently, the site is the opportunity to enjoy an immersive 3D experience with Immersion and Experience 2.0 which allows to discover the place for centuries.
Temporary exhibitions are regularly at the entrance to the site and it is possible to walk to the foot of the fruit trees planted at the foot of the Rock as part of an educational project.
