- Organized by CPIE Pays Basque, with Mikaël Maitia, forestry technician at the Centre régional de la propriété forestière. - How are forests managed ? First we visit a mature oak grove that regenerates naturally. Then we visit a former poplar grove that has been artificially reforested as part of the low-carbon label and the Biarritz G7 compensation scheme. A technician will tell you all about these management methods. - Bring tennis shoes (no smooth soles) and water. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Ahaxe town hall. Adults and children aged 12 and over.
