Castle of Agel

Monument in Agel

A former 12th-century fortress built in the heart of Hérault, the Château d'Agel underwent numerous transformations in the 16th and 17th centuries to take on the aspect we know it today. Listed as an historic monument, this magnificent building nestled in the upper Minervois valley is a highly renowned wine estate.

Settled with dignity on its rock, in a bend of the Cesse, it seduces with its hills, its terraces and its vineyards. Open to the public, it is an opportunity to discover exceptional wines for sale directly on site.
