Located in Cap-d'Agde, the Ephèbe museum is the only museum in France to be devoted to underwater and underwater archaeology. Built in the 1980s by the architect of the Cap-d'Agde resort, Jean Le Couteur, it has been awarded the Musée de France label since the early 2000s.
During their walk, visitors can thus discover about 3000 objects from excavations in the surroundings and ranging from the end of the Bronze Age until the 19th century. On the site's program, a stranded wreck, ancient amphoras, a mosaic from the 1st century BC, Hellenistic bronzes or even cargoes of wrecks from the 16th to the 19th century.
