Charming seaside resort located not far from Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, Agay takes place in the heart of the Var, on the Côte d'Azur. The town nestled at the foot of Rastel d'Agay is well sheltered between Cap Dramont and Pointe de la Baumette.
A natural gateway to the Estérel massif, Agay shows traces of occupation dating from prehistoric times. Developed by the Greeks, the town has continued to evolve over the centuries, in particular with the construction of fortifications on the seafront at the request of Richelieu. But it was during the Belle Époque that the town really took off. The arrival of the railway in the 19th century thus developed seaside tourism as well as the exploitation of porphyry quarries.
The calm and a nature that has been preserved over the years makes it today one of the jewels of the Côte d'Azur and a privileged vacation spot on a human scale, just like the "sport and nature" activities, infrastructure, shops and services offered on site.
