• The village of Cravant has kept its medieval charm, with its old streets, its half-timbered house and its doors.
• The remarkable church dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul is a must-see monument in Cravant. It has a unique architecture in Burgundy. True witness of the glorious past of Cravant, the building with an imposing steeple with three floors dating from 1551 was built on three periods: in the ninth century, then enlarged in the eleventh century and rebuilt in the late sixteenth century.
• The donjon is also a site to visit in Cravant. This is the oldest building in the village, built between 1280 and 1308, with fortifications built from 1387. The dungeon has had several functions over the centuries. First a prison, then watchtower, barracks and finally seigniorial residence. This building is classified Historic Monument. The basement and the Gothic hall are visitable when the owner is present.
• The belfry located to the north of the village is the highest tower of the fortified enclosure. It has a 36-step spiral staircase that leads to the top of this clock tower and once allowed for the surveillance of the five valleys and the protection of commodities stored in the harbor.
• The locality also has several doors that you can contemplate while browsing the village: the door of the Poterne next to the belfry, the door of Arbaut renovated in the eighteenth century and the Porte d'Orléans south of the village, main entrance from Cravant in the fourteenth century.
• Visit the halls, erected in 1451, witnesses of the great economic activity that once animated the medieval city of Cravant, with many markets and major medieval fairs. The Halles became the school of boys during the nineteenth century, and the library of Cravant in 1999.
• Cravant also has a small communal heritage consisting of wash houses, a beautiful stone fountain in the shopping district, old wells, as well as a rose garden.
• Walking tours in Cravant and around you will discover all the built and natural heritage at your own pace.

The church Saint-Nizier (XII-XVIII) has a monumental altarpiece which separates the classical nave from the Romanesque choir and three statues of 1695 classified as Historical Monuments.

• The market of 4 Seasons of Cravant is held every Saturday morning under the hall, rue d'Orléans.
• The first weekend of July, the town celebrates the patronal feast, organized by the association "Cravant en fête". On the program, two days of festivities punctuated with many animations for young and old.
• The association "Cravant in celebration" also organizes the national day of July 13 and 14 in Cravant.

• Garage sales at the nautical stop of the Nivernais canal: the last Sunday of July.
• Green races (two trails of 10 and 25 km): the penultimate Sunday of August.
• Celebration the last weekend of August. Fireworks on the banks of the Cure (free), traditional water games on the Cure, funfair.
