Welcome to Puy Rond Camping. We are a small family run site in the heart of the Bocage region of the Poitou – Charentes, France, close to the Vendee border. The campsite is the dream & reality of myself Robert & my wife Amanda to offer what we feel most people look for in a campsite – beautiful surroundings, friendly people & a warm family atmosphere. With only 25 pitches we offer a more personal approach than the “factory camping” of large campsites. We are only a short walk from the medieval town of Bressuire that has numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. We are only a short drive from many places of interest such as Le Puy du Fou, Le Marais Poitevin (green venice) and the Japanese gardens of Maulevrier. Around an hour from the campsite you have the Loire valley towns of Saumur & Chinon, the vineyards of Anjou & Muscadet and the Vendee coastal towns of La Rochelle & Les Sables d'olonne... LOCALISATION IN THE DEUX-SÈVRES

From Cholet on the N149. Follow directions for town centre. (Do not get on the périphérique). Turn right just after you go under a bridge (D35) Follow the directions for Fontenay Le Comte. After 400 metres you will arrive at a mini roundabout. Take the 1st exit. Continue to another roundabout with a gardening. Follow the direction for Fontenay Le Comte, pass under another bridge and turn right 100 metres after. Then turn an immediate left (Rue de Puy Rond). The campsite entrance is 25 metres on the left. Follow the road up the hill to the reception by the barrier. From Thouars on the D938. Follow the panels for Fontenay le Comte (938) until you arrive at a roundabout with a gardening. Follow signs for Fontenay Le Comte, go under a bridge and turn right 100 metres after. Then turn an immediate left. (Rue de Puy Rond) The campsite entrance is 25 metres on the left. Follow the road up the hill to the reception by the barrier. From Argenton Chateau / Angers on the D748. Follow the signs for Fontenay le Comte until you arrive at a roundabout with a gardening. Follow signs for Fontenay Le Comte, go under a bridge and turn right 100 metres after. Then turn an immediate left. (Rue de Puy Rond) The campsite entrance is 25 metres on the left. Follow the road up the hill to the reception by the barrier.
