Better than a stop and go, our house is worth a longer stay to enjoy it, the parkland and the beautiful region around. From its location, you'll be able to discover a lot of places of interest such as gorgeous La Rochelle and Ile de Re, interesting Rochefort, lovely Surgeres and Saint Jean d'Angely and the charming Green Venice which is part of the secret Marais Poitevin. Our village and house history... Is a long story that we enjoy to tell our guests when they ask for. This is not an ordinary house : proportions, light, decoration, peace, birds songs and venerable trees in the parkland. Everything should contribute to your wellness, provided that you like the country and sharing your time with friendly people. After many travels, we settled down in this property in 1998. We decided to restore it year after year and to open it to you all year round. We receive single, couples and families with the same smile. Unfortunately, we cannot accept your pets since we have our own animals (a dog, two donkeys, sheep and chickens). Four times a week, we cook family food with fresh local products and eat with you at the same table. We are keen to choose organic products when it's possible and can cook for vegetarians or allergic people as well. We propose 2 big rooms with bathroom ensuite, 2 family suites with shower room ensuite and 1 self catering apartment. One family suite has been designed to sleep disabled people. There are big dining, living, playing and sitting rooms, cooking facilities for babies and picnics, huge terraces, playing area, games and small bikes for kids, parking... We can speak English and Spanish fluently and talk a little of German and Italian.
