Wedged on a mountainside in a small village of 35 souls authentic Auvergne, the closed red stones is a former farmhouse completely renovated in 2009 which offers very comfortable cottages. The location of the Clos des Pierres Rouges is an asset: at the crossroads of the path of Saint Jacques de Compostela, picturesque gorges of the Allier and the route of the Beast of Gevaudan. For leisure, many options are available: the Allier 7 km is a paradise for fishermen, sports fans of white water or bathing. The area is also ideal for picking mushrooms (the owners will advise you). Hikers can enjoy the advice of the owner to arrange their travels.   Finally, with regard to the pleasures of the snow, 5 km is the site's northern Vernet where you will find trails cross country skiing and will have the opportunity to practice snowshoeing. In summary, in all seasons, you'll have a good reason to stay at the Clos des Pierres Rouges...
