Easy walking to town, some very good restaurants, an excellent breakfast. It helps to speak some French! Wonderful, warm host.

This guest house is a welcoming family hotel, ideally located in Vernet. The pace is quiet, peaceful and friendly and all kind of tourist information is given in abundance by the host, Isabelle. The breakfasts are generous and the jams homemade. They are kindly served in the glass veranda that extends the house like a winter garden. Outdoors is the shaded garden planted with a variety of trees. I could not have dreamt of a better place for my stay in Vernet.

We stayed for seven nights at les 2 lions. The welcome was gracious. Isabelle and Marciel went beyond our expectations. They assisted us long term travellers with local knowledge and gracious hospitality. Our french language skills are low, but we all managed to communicate well. We appreciated extra assistance given to us by assisting with our laundry. The old building has been renovated in keeping with its style. Our room was perfectly clean, breakfast plentiful and with Isabelle's wonderful jams made it a delight. We hope to return one day, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My grandad used to own the hotel when i was 7 years old i am now 42 but havent been back to france for a long time vernet and the hotel was beautiful.
