The question

Mr and Mme Hardy have a most beautiful house with an incredible panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The rooms have their own entrance at the end of the building and outdoor seating in the garden. There's a good bathroom and a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. We had the downstairs room but there is a lovely room upstairs which is only used when there are additional people staying. The breakfast is served in their living room and Mme Hardy provides delicious home made tarts and jams to go with the bread and cheese. Good fresh coffee and green tea for me. They are very welcoming and Mr Hardy had lots of suggestions of where to visit which were very helpful. They are a delightful couple and really couldn't do enough for us. Avranches is a lovely town, about a mile's walk down a straight road from the B&B - we walk a lot so not a problem and great if you want a nice bottle of wine with your dinner. Nice restaurants recommended by the owners in town and Avranches is a great base to visit the Baie du Mont Saint Michel - and the mount itself - and the coast up to Granville, well worth a day out. I speak French but owners speak English. Highly recommended!

We came for one night with our daughter. The chamber d' hotes is very clean, very practical as you have 2 rooms and bathroom, wc private. Ideal for families. Note though that the 2nd room is upstairs. The rooms are very comfortable and everything was very clean. When we came in the evening, we asked some boiled water for tea, was no problem at all. The breakfast was served with home-made cakes and yogurt. And from the rooms you can see the Mont St Michel (from far away, but still good to see). An ideal address if you wish to visit the Mont Saint Michel or the region.

We liked it all, and the garden and the view to Mont Saint Michel. The house is beautiful and we really liked Jean serving calvados and caramelliquer. Thereses breakfast was just perfect. Could not be better. We followed the good advises what to to and what to see, specially the tide was fantastic.

A few kilometers from Mont St Michel, is a scenic and friendly place seems to live in a fairy tale. The reception was delicious and the hosts have a lot of attention to every detail that makes the stay just plain be unique, even for a day. Recommend to all !!!

An outstanding warm welcome by Mr and Mrs Hardy, a lovely room with wide view over the countryside. The only negative point, that you can hear the cars from the far away highway - otherwise this place is unique and very clean and beautiful - including the lovely breakfast with so many self-made surprises.
