L'orée du bois'

Josette is a wonderful hostess. We were met as described by other guests and taken to her delightful home. The first thing that greeted us was the warmth, the perfumed air and the delightful décor. Josette has style! Our room was, as described, comfortable and warm, beautifully decorated and with a reliable wi-fi connection! We ate with her 4 out of 5 evenings and each night was a delight. We learnt so much about the area and French lifestyle. Being English the only thing that would have made it perfect was to have a kettle to make a cup of tea whenever we wanted!

We got a very warm welcome, being picked up by our hostess at the village square. The room (there is only one room, which is great!) is beautiful and clean, with a lovely bed and en-suite bathroom. The food was all homemade and our hostess proudly presented us with some local food and drinks. The next morning, afther a nice breakfast, she gave us a ride to the starting point of our walk. Altogether highly recommended.

We stayed with Mme Decarsin 23 September and were very pleased to discover this very special B&B with dinner (yummy good). Our room was comfortable, very clean and tucked away in the attic. This was especially wonderful during the raging thunder storm as we had a large window from which to watch. This spot was a stop over on our bicycle trip around the Lot Valley. Josette took wonderful care of us.
