Nadine et jean-Marc vives

Great location in a small village. Within one hour drive to Gavernie or Pont de Espagne for hiking and beautiful scenery. Very close to the town of Lourdes. Our room and bathroom was nice and clean. Nadine was very nice to help us plan or activities even though limited English she did a good job. She did a nice breakfast each morning with homemade jam and a special cake/ muffin that she bakes. We also joined in for two dinners that were very good traditional meals. All of the other guests were all French speaking so we fumbled with some conversation but mostly just listened to them which was entertaining! We had a great experience, I would highly recommend a stay here.

If you ever want to spend a few days discovering Lourdes and its surroundings, this is a perfect place to stay. The table d'hôte option is very convenient and tasty with local produce though you have to be ready to spend 2 + hours over dinner ! We enjoyed it as it was a lovely way to get to know the history of the house and village from our hosts and simply relax while sharing a meal with other tourists.

Our hostess, Nadine, was especially welcoming and helpful. We will be back again.

This was our first B and B experience and Jean-Marc and Nadine made it a great one! Beautiful location (you will need a car), Local fresh food prepared in traditional ways was amazing. Terrace rooms were private and comfortable. Lulled to sleep at night by the cowbells in the countryside! We will be back (from Canada)!
