Chambre d'hôtes de Florence

Good place to stay when you want discover Metz as well as the surrounding area. The owner is very kind and the breakfast we had was more than sufficient. The bed for two persons was also very good. Only thing was that the sleeping room was towards a street with some traffic Friday evening but quiet during the night. I can recommend this place.

The chambre d'hotes is a small self-contained apartment on the ground floor of the owner's house, with separate entrance. We were met on arrival by Mr Coudivat who was very helpful. The apartment comprises a living room off which there is a small kitchen with gas hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is a bedroom with king-size bed and a bathroom with shower. The apartment was very clean and clearly quite new. It has off road parking which is a good thing as the road is quite busy. It is well situated for travelling into Metz as there is a bus stop about 200 metres away with a very frequent and reasonably priced bus service during weekdays until 9.00pm. Breakfast was brought down by the owners at around 7.00am each morning and put on the table in the living room. It was adequate with fresh bread, juice, yoghurt and coffee or tea. A nice touch during our stay was a bowl of cherries each morning from trees in the garden. We had no problems during our stay and the only thing we would like to suggest is that the pillows be changed, as they were thin and not of good quality.

We spent two nights in this very comfortable apartment in a suburb of Metz. No surprises - the photos on the Website are accurate, and Florence was most accommodating. We would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Metz, although we do think it is best suited to travelers with their own cars.

It was very easy to contact the owners when we had questions; we felt very welcomed (lovely surprise in fridge!!). All the information in the cupboard about Metz was perfect!! The bed was top quality. Excellent kitchen and big space. We would love to come back here. Thank you again for your care. Cycling to and in Metz is easy. Also cycling in Nancy is ok.
