A very nice place to beI stayed au vieux tielleul on a motorcycle trip down to the pyrenees. The place was easy to find, and is situated in a beautiful landscape. I felt very welcome by Valerie and Marc. Although i was rather exhausted and went to bed rather early, it was a very nice evening with a very good, made with vegetables from their own yard and very tasty. The atmosphere at the place was very nice, and Valerie and Marc are great hosts. If i had known the place and the countryside before, I would possibly have stayed also longer. I can absolutely recommend staying at Au viex tilleul !

Rejuvenating StayThe couple who owns this B&B welcome you like family! We were coming in on the train (which is a bit of a walk to the B&B, but not impossible), but Valerie offered to pick us up from the station and then she drove us to the B&B! Since we didn't have a car and had come in late at night without having eaten, she graciously drove us to the only restaurant open in town so we could eat before they closed. Truly a memorable stay with wonderful hosts. Loved the homemade bread and jam, the fruit trees in the yard, and the non-commercial atmosphere. Truly a rejuvenating stay, and just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of the city.

Wonderful stay with friendly hostsWe stayed at Au Vieux Tilleul for two nights in July 2011, as we were participating on the 'Retrouvance Buëch - Dévoluy' ONF-trip with Veynes as the base village. The two rooms this B&B offers are both very nice, and the standard is higher than most hotels. The house has a lovely garden and offers a separate living room for the guests, including TV and a fireplace. The hosts, Marc and Valérie, are very hospitable and offers the guests to join them for dinner (for an additional cost at €20 per person). This can be highly recommended! The three-course dinner was the best we had during the 3 weeks spent in France this summer. When it comes to price, we found it to be very good value, charging € 53, - per night for two persons.
