Sous la roque

Sous la Roque was clean & welcoming, with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast was copious with with a huge variety of delicious home made jam and local ham produced by the farmer son of the landlady. There is no cooked breakfast. We stayed for a week, the weather was excellent, so we spent several evenings cooking our own meals by the river in the garden. There are no bars or restaurants in Tubersent, so it was only possible to go out by car or bike for evening meals or entertainment. This was not a problem however as Sous la Roque is only 10 minutes drive from Etaples, Le Touquet, & Montreuil sur Mer.

We had a lovely stay, Madam Delaporte was very obliging, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast very nice.

Mrs Delaporte showed what true hospitality is. As an example: we arrived late in the evening (2 adults and 2 kids of 8 & 10), were tired, got a bit lost and unfortunately our level of French was not good enough to find directions so Mrs Delaporte took the effort to pick us up and guide us to her lovely B&B. We had a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Our 4 person room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was good. A lot of touristic information was available so enough inspiration for some nice days in the area.

We had a very plesant stay. The room was lovely, very comfortable and a fabulous breakfast. The area is beautiful.

The bed and breakfast at Sous la roque is probably one of the best we've encountered in many travels through France. Both Mme and M Delaporte were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and comfortable with good size bathrooms. And breakfast was excellent.
