Lou Viei Jas

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed one of Patricia's fabulous table d'hote meals. It is very clean and reasonably priced. I was worried that, as we don; t speak French that we wouldn't manage to communicate very well. However, Patricia speaks good basic English (and has a dictionary!). This was no problem at all and added to the enjoyment! Patricia and Dominique are very friendly and welcoming with lots of ideas of things to do in the area and tips for tourists. Our room was lovely. The bathroom was enormous (double sink, beday and shower) and, though there was no air con, this was not needed as it is shaded and cool in the bedroom. We had use of the pool, which was quiet and clean and large enough. There is wifi too. There is plenty to do but you will need a car to make the most of the area. Gorge du Verdon is spectacular and close by and there are plenty of nearby villages to explore (E.g. Chataeudouble) It took a few hours to get there from Nice airport BUT we did stop in Grasse en route and had a lovely lunch and walk around the town.

Everything was very nice prepared, we felt very welcomed, very nice and clean. Breakfast were nice and delicious. I would give 11 points out of 10!
