Facing the Mont Saint-Michel : 7 km as the crow flies, the château is an elevated location on a hill above a small village of Saint-Jean le Thomas (choice of restaurants : 5mn walk). During the last world war General Eisenhower was « l'hôte d'honneur du village » (the special guest of the village) and a bed of the property was given to him. From each room ensuite there is a panoramic view of the Mont Saint Michel ! Swiming pool heated from July to September. 3 hours from Paris the château offers bedrooms with genuine antiques, some rooms are gorgeously feminine with four-poster beds, canopy beds and with always an ensuite bathroom. The panoramic view of the Mont Saint-Michel is sublime especially at sunrise or sunset and can be seen also from your bed ! (in rooms with balcony).
